Endowment Fund

Though an old man I am but a young gardener.

The Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation is seeking conttributions to build an endowment fund for the long term benefit of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide with the capital held by the Foundation and interest distributed annually towards Gardens' projects.

The Endowment Fund will enable the Foundation to assist in protecting the Gardens' rich botanical and built heritage while furthering vital conservation, horticultural, scientific and education programs.  External support is critical to enhance facilities and services provided by the Gardens for the community and to support research in new fields of conservation, ecology and botany.

The generous philanthropic support by the corporate sector, charitable trusts and private donors is recognised through our Directors Circle Recognition Program .  There are many ways the Foundation can assist the Gardens conserve, build and innovate, creating new opportunities to present and future generations.

We invite you to contribute to the Endowment Fund which may also include Bequests and Living Legacies.  For more information about the Endowment Fund, please register your interest to receive our brochure by email info@abgf.org or contact the Foundation on 08 8222 9347.

Thank you for considering the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation.

The Foundation was formally established in 2004 (as the Gardens 150 Foundation) under South Australian Associations Incorporation Act 1985 to assist with raising funds and profile for the Board of the Botanic Gardens & State Herbarium.  The Foundation is the trustee of the not-for-profit Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation Fund, and has deductible gift recipient status for taxation purposes.
