The role of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation is to generate funds for the Board of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium to continue to keep and share knowledge through diverse and relevant collections.

Kitchen Garden Ambassadors value the benefits of kitchen gardening including personal, environmental and community health and well being (as well as knowing what tastes really good!) They are willing to pass on their expertise and enthusiasm and share skills to last a lifetime.
Building an Endowment Fund is critical to ensure a robust future for the Botanic Gardens. A fund to benefit future generations, interest is distributed annually to projects of greatest need.
The Endowment Fund provides an opportunity for donors to give to a project of particular personal interest.
The Endowment Fund embraces the collections and knowledge of the Botanic Gardens. Champions of the Endowment Fund are all those that value and love the Gardens; visitors that have known the Gardens all their lives, dedicated Guides and volunteers, everyone that has discovered the Gardens.
