The Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation provides financial support to one of our most important and cherished cultural resources.  A Botanic Garden is much more than green space or window dressing, and for more than 150 years our Gardens has worked behind the scenes to contribute to the state's prosperity and today is committed to research, conservation and the education of our children. 

"From the preservation of plant genetic material for food and medicine production to planning water-wise residential developments, the Gardens remains crucially relevant to the life of our community.  The Foundation raises funds to continue this essential work while preserving the Gardens' rich botanical and architectural legacy."
